For over 30 years, Mr. Bowers has worked in law enforcement, corporate security and private sector investigations. Since 1992, Mr. Bowers has been the President of Integrated Resource Group (IRG), an investigative and security consulting firm.

After requests from insurance industry, Bowers trained two accelerant detection dogs that have received accreditation by the Canine Accelerant Detection Association (CADA) and the World Detector Dog Organization (WDDO). These dogs have been called upon to aid in the investigation of property losses with insured values in excess of $25,000,000.

From 1996 through 2010, Bowers worked closely with the National Football League’s (NFL) drug testing programs.  In addition to local oversight of the Tennessee Titans testing program, Bowers served on the NFL’s Advisory Committee for Substances of Abuse and Performance Enhancing Drugs and assisted in the design, implementation and technical support of the NFL’s first nationwide computerized collection program.

Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Bowers gained extensive training and experience while employed as a Special Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and as a Police Officer with the Knoxville Police Department.  While working with these departments, he participated in complex investigations involving major drug conspiracies, public corruption, and other criminal activities.
